These earphones are lightweight, have one-key control for performing a number of tasks including receiving calls, controlling media, and activating voice assistant amongst others. They are powered by 7.2mm drivers and feature DSP digital noise reduction technology.
The Redmi AirDots 2 also have a charging case with an acclaimed 300mAh battery which is said to keep these earphones powered for 12 hours. This case uses a Micro-USB port for charging. The earbuds take around an hour and a half to complete charging while the case takes about 2 hours to charge completely. These earphones are available in three different sizes included in the box to let users select their favourite size for best fit. Bluetooth v5.0 takes care of connectivity, with the company claiming this offers faster data transfer speeds compared to Bluetooth v4.2. These earbuds boast the same design as their predecessors, while the charging case has the Redmi branding on top. These earbuds cost CNY 79 ($11), with crowdfunding taking place between the 20th of July and the 29th of July. After this window, the earbuds would cost CNY 99($14). They are only available in black colour and there is no news yet when these earbuds will get to other markets. References
